Immersed in art all his life, Tom has worked as a graphic designer creating designs for many international companies before becoming a full time painter. His paintings have been exhibited around the world including a commission to produce a painting for one of the Royal Households and was sponsored on a touring exhibition of Great Britain.

Following in the footsteps of the Impressionist painters who influenced Tom’s en plein air, free flowing painterly style; he and his wife, relocated to the south west of France where he immersed himself in the culture of France, painting the landscape of the region, and established an atelier to sell his paintings and independently produced products.

While living and painting in France Tom published a book illustrating his travels throughout the country which was later published in French.

In 2009 Tom returned to Ireland, the country of his birth, where he works from his studio in the south east corner of Ireland. A regular exhibitor at the Wexford Opera Festival and member of several art societies, Tom continues to paint and pursue his interests in design and the applied arts.

Tom’s paintings have featured in many international art magazines including: Artist and Illustrator, The Artist Magazine and The Leisure Painter, and his work is held in many international corporate and private collections.
